Student Offer Program
Research with leading technology
The Innovasea Student Offer Program is designed to support graduate‑level aquatic research and help early‑career scientists experience the advantages of advanced acoustic telemetry. The program provides students with access to the most reliable and cutting‑edge fish tracking technology available today, enabling high‑quality data collection in both ocean and freshwater environments.
Annual award structure
To further support the research community, Innovasea aims to make its products more accessible by offering two systems annually. Through this initiative, Innovasea hopes to empower the next generation of researchers and encourage the use of telemetry in modern ecological studies.
Innovasea will award two full equipment systems each year, with selections made in March and October. Application periods run from October-March & again from March-October.
Each award includes $250 travel bursary & one (1) full system, consisting of the student’s choice of:
Option A:
- Five (5) NexTrak Receivers
- Twenty (20) Increased Residency ID-Only Transmitters
- One (1) Range Test Tag
Option B:
- Five (5) NexTrak Receivers
- Ten (10) Increased Residency Sensor Tags
- One (1) Range Test
